Yes! Inspired by you leaving chickens around, I spent a few hours yesterday decorating envelopes. I put hard copies of a few of my Subbies in them and deposited them in my local street library. For no reason. Even as I did it, my sensible, productive adult brain was asking *What is the point? You'll never know who reads them!* And my whimsical brain just giggled.
I like your interpretation of the ubiquitous "WTF" so much better than the common meaning of it! Tis true, whimsy can tip fate most delightfully - why I get a kick out of noticing these tiny black bugs that like to zip around my kitchen trash or cat food or my face or...amazing little creatures - so fast and so really non-troublesome most of the time. Same with teensy baby spiders dangling almost invisibly from an old lampshade...fascinating creatures to me which distract me so nicely from all the cat hair and dust bunnies (more like rabbits) which need my attention soon and so the existence of these creatures is whimsical to me and makes me smile and grab a handful of dusty cat hair to be lightly disposed of, something I had been dreading. :-)
I love this response. I love your view of even tiny bugs being whimsical and baby spiders. Why not see things with fascination rather than annoyance. Thank you, Beth.
Too fast. ..a trendy vernacular as of late. But for a reason. It’s a word that gives permission to play. Tho it’s more than that. Because whimsy at least for me is freedom for self and that’s why googly eyed chickens rule.

Hooray for your whimsical brain. Message me your address and i’ll send you a chicken as a prize.
Happy, joyous, free AND whimsical! Thanks, JB...
Thanks so much, CM.

I’m actively seeking whimsy in my art, it soothes the beasts within 😬
I agree! 🙌🏼
Thanks for the fun on a hot Saturday. If one is made of feathers, can one fan oneself? I think feathers would work better than fingers.
Well, there’s a whimsical thought. Yours would be fashionable.
