I really enjoyed reading this! You perfectly captured that wonderful space where love holds on just the right amount, keeping you safe but not restricted. I felt the joy in these words. ❤️
You are such a delight with your bright joyful colors and shapes and pleasureable words and comments that inspire shivers of laughter and lightness. What a lucky delightful couple to have. And play with each other and thanks for spreading the good feelings and love.
This is phenomenal! I love the detailed character development and story you infused into Chagall’s whimsical painting. I adore this so much. Bravo! I’ve only tried this genre once, and I kept it to more of a traditional poem with stanzas. Writing a short story gives you so much more freedom!
I really don't have any words to describe my feelings as I read this. You are so talented, whimsical, insightful, joyful and more. I love absorbing your wise words. Thank you.
Chagall in prose…tethered by a string of love….perfect…
Thanks so much, Christine!

I like that description Joshua. Thank you for reading.
This essay was a Marc Chagall painting in prose. Bravo!
Thank you, Sue!

Thanks Julie. I didn’t know this was a genre. It’s a true story. 😉

Next time wave to your sisters up there!
Will do!
what a delightful little fable this is
the idea of sautéing onions while hovering seemed a good way to cure crying - it's intriguing to think so, I'll give it a try
p.s. one of my favorite movies with Olivia Coleman is the 2014 short film The Karman Line. She floats! I highly recommend it.
I shall catch that. I love Olivia Coleman.
Charming.
Thanks, Judy.
